Professional biography
Jasmine Martinez is an intern in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Hofstra University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University and is passionate about empowering clients while providing a positive, safe environment for growth.
As an intern, Jasmine has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, and self-esteem concerns. She also has experience supporting couples and families facing infidelity, communication concerns, divorce, and other family conflicts.
Jasmine believes therapy is not one size fits all and strives to tailor treatment to each client’s needs. She draws from evidence-based approaches including the Gottman Method, cognitive-behavioral therapy, structural family therapy, and emotion-focused therapy to support clients in working toward their goals.
